i wanna see a whole binch of slots, like that sh.it they do with chicken wire on Evo VII. And a big as.s hood scoop, and some cooling slots too. Like they had on an old IROC or the new XKR, that sh.it is off da hook.

Pure carbon can be done but most people do not want to pay for it. It drives up the cost quite a lot. 99% of what is out there is carbon over fiber. While I could probably sell these as pure carbon, you could never tell they are not, that would not be very honest. Some companies do misrepresent the content of their hoods.

If they are selling it four under $1000 it is definitely not pure carbon.

The hoods we will be making are made from the same specs as aircraft. Currently, we construct dragster bodies out of this material. The dragster bodies are built to withstand 7-8 G's of downforce.

cant fiberimages custom make a CF hood for you with a scoop? I think cheston had a group deal goin on (maximadriver.com) for a while. Thats where i got mine about two years ago. I know they make the CF (functional) wings.
