Yes it does. While this GD was only meant for the 4th gens, I can find out if he can get 5th gen ones.(which I'm sure he can) I just need more people to reply.

I have a weapon r intake. It wasn't that hard to instal and is well worth $130, although I payed $200 for mine. It sounds a lot deeper than just a pop charger. Just throwing in some good words

I have a question about the filters. Is the "chrome" one made of metal while the colored ones made of plastic?

Ok, I just got an email back from the seller, and he said that yes he does have the intakes for 5th gens.

The chrome part on the filter is chromed out plastic.

weapon r better then warpspeed?

is the Weapon R intake better then the Warpseed intake?

Also, isn't it true that Weapon R intake isn't a CAI, while the WSP is...and only costs $150+shipping. I think adding another $20+shipping is wroth it for the CAI difference & WSP's better reputation.

The $140 is without a filter. With, its $155+shipping, so that would come to $165-$170. No all people are inteested in a CAI, especialy with the recent posts on how the CAI starves on the top end, and how the intake temps do not differ that much between a cai and hai. Plus this intake is not meant to compete with a CAI. IF you want a CAI go ahead and get one. This is for people who do not want to drill a whole, or are thinking about getting a Stillen or JWT intake. This intake offers alot more pefrormance and looks, and costs less.

Offers a lot more performance?

-Well they're false advertisign then, cuz their site says $140 for CAI w/ K&N filter. I will get to the bottom of it though in the next day to be sure.

I'm just letting people know what's out there...maybe they didn't know they can get a CAI & not a regular intake for not too much more. And if you're going for "most performance" as you said....the CAI will without a doubt outperform a non CAI.

If you actualy read what I wrote, then you would see, that I never said it performs better then the CAI. I said it is better the the regular pop charger, because it also replaces the resonator between the TB and the filter. So please don't come here trying to flame, when all I'm doing is trying to help maxima owners get new products for lower prices. If you read the original post, you would know that I am not the one selling them. So I am making no money of this. I just happened to find a person who sells them cheaper then anyone else, and I wanted to pass along the savings to the community.
Also, take your statement about how a "CAI without a doubt outperform a non CAI" and post it in the general forum, and see how many people will disagree with you.

Well... the thing is , is that i asked a whole bunch of people on their opinions on intake vs. CAI---and pretty much everyone said go with CAI over the intake. So if you want to post the thread go ahead, i don't want others screaming y didn't you use search, bla bla.

Who ever said, u were trying to make a profit? The same way you're trying to insight maxima owners, I am too...no harm no foul. Let them decide for themsevles...that's all I'm saying.

No where in any of my posts did I say this is better then a cai.(it might be for all I know) As much as this has been discussed on the org, there should not have been any need for you to "insight maxima owners." I'm sure they are capable people who can do their own research before paying $130 for a part. The reason I mentioned profit, is because you attacked me like I was the one who designed, and manufactured this intake, the whole time saying that it gives 20hp over a cai. I'm going to repost this thread soon to remove these unnessesary posts.

I didn't want to bring this up, but since you did, I will. You probably noticed the price of the same intake on custommaxima.com. Here it is $70 cheaper. This is basicaly the same thing as the frankencar intake, and the other hybrid half-cai's. Remember, the JWT is only the filter and the MAF adapter, nothing else. It should sound better then the JWT, because it removes the stock resonator, and replaces it with a pipe, so it will sound meaner. You can go to www.weapon-r.com and they have a video clip of the intake. It probably won't sound the same though because I'm prety sure they have it on a 4-cyl car. Looks-wise, I think this is the best intake. You have numerous colors to choose from, which can be applied to the pipe, filter and even the hoses. Horse power increase will be in the same range as the other hybrids, but you won't loose as much low end as the JWT due to the removal of the resonator. I already ordered my intake, and I will let you know how it is. Of course you can ask the other people who have it. I have only heard good things about it from them.(it's the ones that don't have it usualy have something negative to say)

That sucks, so the MAF sensor blew right away after you put the intake on?
What type of Air filter does Weapon R intake uses?

Thanks.

not right away the next day it drove fine for a day but then the maf sensor went i don't think it was due to the intake but i'm not 100% sure The air filter is a foam dragon intake.
