Welp, I have 4 people! I'm paying for the 5th pair to keep "in stock" as I know someone at sometime will need a pair ... keep your eyes peeled on this thread for shipping info. I'm awaiting a response from my supplier to find out when they will be at my doorstep, then I can have a more accurate timeframe for you guys ...

 

And when they do, make them pay at least $180 for not joining this GD...

Again, a quote from my supplier ...

"Just got off the phone with them. He had all five by two of them (LH) were cracked so he had to reorder those. He expects them to be in by tomorrow and he will ship them out Saturday afternoon or monday morning. I am going to have him send them straight to you."

That means I will have the lights mid-late next week and I will work my a$$ off to get all 5 pairs done so they can ship on Monday. Worst case scenario, some of them go out Tue or Wed. Thanks for hanging in there guys.

I sent my last PM last night asking for a tracking number or a refund. I'm sure the answer will be the latter, but who knows, maybe I'll get a tracking number.

I'm really frustrated with all this and I'm sorry that I might have to issue refunds - it's the last thing I want to do, but I can't wait (or have you wait) any longer.

I definitely won't be doing this anymore as it has proven to be more frustrating than I have time for. I will update here when I have the final word.

Say no more. I just got my money order from the seller. I just need to deposit it into my bank account and then I can issue refunds via PayPal.

I can do nothing but apologize. What a sour deal. I had nothing but problems getting these taillights from the inception of the idea and I thought my luck changed with this seller, but apparently not. Please expect a refund by early to late next week as I have to send the money order to my bank (Virtual Bank, they are only online) and then once it's in, I can issue refunds via PayPal as they were received.

Please accept my sincerest apologies as I did not intend for this to happen like it did.

I wonder... would you be interested in just sending out the pieces needed to replace that orange part? That way, I can try and pull it out myself, and then just insert... What do you think? If you are interested, we can play around with a price for that.

That sounds like a good idea. I'm not scared of taking my tails apart, I did it before on my other 4th gen, but I just hated cutting the plastic to fit...it didn't look right. I would definatly be down for a set of the precut plastic pieces.

 

Anything I can do to help, I will. I will be happy to cut them out and send them to you guys. I even have a pair of broken tails to test fit them on.

You guys just let me know how much this is worth to you and we will go from there. I have no idea what I could/should charge for something like this, so just let me know.

 

I dunno man, you tell me how much your time is worth. $20? I really don't know how much the materials and your labor prices are. Are you union? If so, that will drive the price up

Anyways...just kick out a price you think is fair, and we will let you know

 

i agree. i think it should start with the actual price of the product, and then how much time you put into it. you've been fair thus far, i would think that you would give a fair price.

Okay, here's the deal. The check has been deposited and awaiting clearing. Should clear today or tomorrow. I do need one volunteer to let me refund them via credit card as I am currently close to tapped out and I want to get you guys your money ASAP.

Secondly, those who asked about the clear pieces, I can do that for $20 shipped, that sounds very fair. I can test fit them in a broken tail I have so I can guarantee good fitment. Please let me know who can/is willing to accept a refund with a credit card. I can reund the other 3 people with a bank transfer.

Please let me know who is definitely interested in the inserts and who can accept a CC ASAP so that I can issue refunds. Thanks for your continued patience guys.

I have the pieces ready to be shipped and I have your physical addresses I'm just getting shipping materials to make sure they don't break in shipment. They have been test fit and will squeeze in perfectly.

To everyone else who inquired about these ... I will not be doing this for anyone else until at least september. Right now I am living in an apartment and doing these is too time consuming and messy. I move into my house in Sept. and will have a garage and a workspace at my disposal.
