Nice ... once the pods are out .. I'll be ordering gauges to fit the pods .... I will be one of the ones that will specifically order a different type.

Ciao!

HEHE no don't worry guys they will be out soon. We met with a new company at SEMA and agreed on a contract that will save us quite a bit of money and provide better quality gauge pods. Production is still in the works and we are doing the best we can to rush them. They will fit 95-99 and 2000+ in every color. Our initial order is close to 1000 pods just for them to accept our offer.

We choose to just carry the standard inexpensive gauges because their are so many different ones out there. We can get any autometer gauges, so if their is a particular one you want call me and I will get it for you.
Thanks,
Greg, Owner

Me too, I'd like some Autometer Ultralites or Apexi's. Will you carry senders\wiring harnesses\accessories for the gauges?

1000 pods?? That's a lot of gauges. Do you plan to sell them internationally as well? Because I don't think there's that many modded Maximas in the US .

Same here, man. These better be the best fitting, stockest-looking, under $50 a-pillars, or I'm gonna be that I waited this long for gauges.

If these pods ever come out, I might replace mine. I have my gauges on for over 2 years now It took Autometer about a year to come out with the overlay type.

http://photos.imageevent.com/1max2nv...envy%20038.jpg

So what happened to the first company? I thought the LARGE order had already been placed? Wow..it's been over 4 months now.

It was supposedly places, test fitted, and then randomly dropped to place an order at another company where he plans on placing a 1000 pod order.

Do we even have that many on the people on the org or anyone in general that would need 1000pods? Why not just get me mine and the other 50 people who are waiting.

The pods for my 2K2 took me approximately 1 hour to make. Its not all that hard to get the 1st DSM pods to wrap around the pillar. Heat guns are your friend, I think I can offer you guys some service, if you are willing to send me back your stock pillar, I can send out a 3 pod, that is attached by 3M acrylic tape, and rivetted like RBas pods or molded like Toylet's pods. Either way both styles are rivetted on. Hopefully RBa will have time to take pics of both.

I guess this is the problem with dealing with a monopoly. Greg @ Custommaxima doesn't really have any competition for these pods so we all have to wait on his schedule.

Someone should light a fire under his as$ ... sorry Greg btw .. do u have an ETA that we could hold you to this time?

Dario, I charged RBa a pack of cigarettes, I charged Toylet nothing, cause he bought his gauges from someone, but I re-shaped the slop of bondo on it. I charged PCGuru2K $80 + give me his factory pillar. I guess thats what you'll be looking at, $80 + send me your factory ones, after I send you the pod-modded pillar.

Ohboiya, one person can make a difference. I would go head to head with Custommaxima.com, but I'm still waiting for those damm 4th gen projectors, so where R they ? I could build my own, since RBa's friend showed me how easy it was to disassemble my 2K2 housings to clear out the lense and paint the background black. The projectors working on for 5th gens is sweet as well using Hella optix w/ angel eyes. I'll post a write up on how projectors were done.
Heat gun, plastic welder, plenty of patience.

I wouldn't be surprised if no one buys it since it's taking soooo long. I mean, I can understand production set backs, delays, fitment issues, etc. But these are just gauge pods for the A-pillar. How much delays, fitment issues can they have???????
