Dimpled Drilled/Slotted Rotors ORDERING INFO!!!

Okay, I know you all been waiting patiently. Here is the info.

Everyone from 89-2001 can order for this deal. And NO THERE IS NO LIMIT to how many people can jump on this deal.

Call Wood at (714) 547-3581 and tell him you want the rotors at the Maxima Group deal price of $200 for a set of 4, or $100 for a set of 2. You HAVE to pay for shipping for what it costs to ship it to your location. His website is RaceConcepts.Net

He accepts CREDIT CARDS over the phone, Paypal, and Money Orders

Dixit (Officiall the BigDog of Rotor Deal)

Pitures of the rotors out the box and Installed are HERE!!!

PS, Side info, The cross drilled are NOT completely drilled through. It is only dimpled. This is good in the sense it retains the metal weight to help in Heat Dissapation, and it will completely avoid cracking. If you want, you can order just Slottled if you dont want the cross drilled. These Rotors are Silver ZINC plated to avoid rust and corrosion. The front for 89-99 will be Brembo fronts and EMC rear blanks. 2000-2001 are both EMC blanks he uses. Just tell him what you want. And the 89-99 years will have Brembo fronts, and EMC rears, the 2000-2001 will have EMC front and rear blanks. Sorry 2002 is actually a larger rotor so it wont fit. ENJOY................

Nope, you gonna have to ask him, I dont think he does that. He just uses the blanks. Most blanks dont have that done.

Title

These 2 threads should be re-titled to dimple-drilled, and not cross-drilled. I think this should be clear, since there is a big difference.

Woohoo got my rotors ordered as well. $22 for shipping!!
Hmmm I'm wondering, since they are already dimpled the rotors how hard would it be to drill thru them? I mean they've pretty much started the pilot holes in a way?

Yeah but there is a disadvantage to that. You lose weight. Losing weight is a big factor in heat dispertion. I would leave them

Guys, who ever installs them, please post pics how those dimples look on the car. I've never seen them in person.

Pads should be replaced every 30,000 miles. Now, it depends on how heavy your foot it. The heavier the foot, the quicker your pads will wear off.
I have Porterfield pads...very good.

If your 16" winter wheels fit on your car now, then they will fit with these rotors. These rotors are stock-size replacements.

Come on now AA, this has been mentioned plenty of times, they are stock rotor replacements. It will fit. Dont mean to sound hasty.

Dimpled or drilled

Are dimpled truly more effective than true cross-drilled rotors? I understand the extra mass means extra heat absorption capability but is that not offset by the cooling effect of having through holes radiating heat? This deal sure sounds great price wise, just wondering if functionally its a better buy with dimples/slots rather than cross drilled. If so I may be placing an order soon, but I had been leaning towards the package deal from Phuong....

Well I am into the ESPN drag shows all the time, and Big Daddy on there is highly recommedative of only the slotted rotors and not full drilled anymore. Slotted and Dimpled are simpler.

Thanks BigDog, the reason I asked is that most factory high performance rotors are fully drilled, ie. Porsche, etc. Also most every performance motorbike is also fully drilled so it seems to me that performance manufacturers feel that there is some advantage to be gained if done correctly to prevent/minimize cracking....

Done deal.

Hi guys, I just ordered the 4 rotors for my 2K1 and will have those ship by US mail-air, cost 71$ to ship MTL-Canada, I didn't want to wait forever by US mail ground service. Total cost 271$ US / 420$ CDN

Wood said he would ship those on monday.

Thanks again to you BigDogJonx.

Cheers
