I have a 2001 I-30-L, Automatic (only automatics after 1999). I had a 1999 Maxima and was going to buy a 2001 Maxima (hence my handle), but ended up with the Infiniti. Great car, only wish I could have gotten a 5-Speed like my 99.

I have a 96 i30 5speed. Non touring, no leather, just like A-ron Max. I think we have some law-enforcement in common too, don't we?

I also have a 96 Acura TL Premium, and almost had a 98 i30t...if it only hadn't have had the ciggarette burns...

 

96 I30t auto... auto by choice, most of you guys don't sit on mountains in stop & go traffic...

 

98 I30 auto, wish I could have found a I30t, but I couldn't pass up the deal on this car.

Anyone remember Nissan's ELSE Project (Executive Luxury Sport Edition)? They took a black '96 or '97 I30t and created a mobile office for the power business executive. They hopped it up with Eibachs, KONIs, Stillen and Wolf parts, wheels, etc. It was the first car that Bill Gates and Microsoft debuted a in-car PC. It made the car show circuit, and I have a press release and photo of it somewhere. It almost certainly got disassembled when Nissan was done with it.

Our car is pretty similar, except for the PC and the power executive

1997 I-30 currently with 85k. Mods are GReddy catback, Wsp y-pipe, PR mid tube with JWT intake, AGX and H&Rs. I'm not really new to the .org, just don't post too much cuz answers are withing "search". Anyways, nice to have an I30 section and a quick shout outs to all the I30/I35 owners here.
