swapping in a five or six speed tranny into their i30 or i35?

i think that would be killer to have a 6speed in a 135.

 

i've thought about doing a 5-speed swap in my i30, but I decided I could spend my money elsewhere on my car...

 

I want to do a 5spd conversion, I may get around to it this summer.

 

I've been pondering the feasibility of a 6 speed swap in my I35 for a while now, but keep coming back to that little nagging problem...

woo hoo! pics upon completion if you can. this will be a first. how are you going to handle the interior trim pieces? from a max? or maybe a left hand drive cefiro somewhere? good luck.

 

the maxima interior piece wouldn't work..they're completely different..i guess it'll have to be a custom work, but i think it'd be dope. good luck~

 

I have an Automatic 1997 Infiniti I30t. From reading other threads on VLSD I am almost sure I have one. The code for trans. ends w/V.

Are you asking if you have to replace your axles? If so, you will need new axles along with the 5 spd.
