There were a few threads back in the day talking about whether or not it was possible to have an auto with the lsd. If anyone could just clear this up for myself or anyone else interested. thanks

Do a search for VLSD and I30. There was a post about 5 or 6 months ago that gave info how to decode the # stamped on the passanger side fire wall. You can tell by that if you have VSLD or not.

that was the thread I was thinking of. I did the number check and it says that I have it, but I never feel the way people describe it when they take a turn and the outside wheel grips and pulls them through.

on the inside of the engine bay on the left side is a tranny code, it should end in a "V" if you have a LSD.

If you accelerate hard through a turn does one spin a little?
Or, launch your car using your e-brake and try to peel out as much as you can. Does only one wheel spin? Did you leave a burnout mark from both tires?

The VSLD on I30 is not the best. You should be able to notice it. I do, especially if I get to drive another FWD car w/o it.
