Polishing wheels? (00'-01' I30/t)

Hey, anyone with the stock i30/t wheels know if there is any way we can polish them to look like chrome? Is there any kind of metal polish or anything that I can use? I know of people polishing thier valve covers on hondas and stuff, any way we can do the same for our wheels?

PS - I hate heavy chromes, i just want the stock rims to look shiny and different.

You can have them chromed. I don't think the wheels are the kinda of material that can be polished like a manifold is.
