BLEW UP MY 1 Piece Head light
BLEW UP MY 1 Piece Head light
Ok I had my light bulb in my cefiro 1 piece blow up, as in 1,000,001 shards of purple glass and a yellow stain on the inside of the housing... any suggestions of how to clean it up?
Sorry your loss! I have no clue how it to clean it up, but do you have any idea to how the bulb blew? What bulbs were you using? Im guessing there is a way to take them apart which would be the easiest way to clean it up. This is the first problem ive heard of with the cefiro lights.

Water slowly leaked down from where my strobes are drilled into the housing.

no can do. the housing for the cefiro head lamps uses the top to pivot the inner housing for directing the beam on the road. So there would be increased movement on the bottom of the housing and increasing the chance of damaging a 30 dollar strobe light and shorting out a 200 dollar controller. All in all I wouldn't have put those strobes in my headlights, knowing what I know now. But for real, how do I fix-e my problem?
remove the housing and use rubbing alcohol to get the stains out...perhaps a new pencil with eraser tip on the end with small gauze pad or poriion of a cloth diaper would work fine and just swap it out slowly...good luck

actually I've decided to go with a marine adhesive sealant. I tried to rinse it out, and now I have small stains all over the inside of the housing, I guess on wed I'll try the isopropyl alchol.
