I've managed to scrape up the bottom of the unified airdam/bumper driving over a parking berm with my pearl white 2000 i30, but the touch-up paint I picked up from the dealer really doesn't have enough substance to take care of the scratches. They are through the paint down to the black plastic on the airdam part of the bumper, no structure damage of any kind. Pretty much sets of 2 inch by 1/4 scrapes on the bottom/front of the airdam.
Can anyone recommend a procedure to follow or product to use to clean up such scratches, perhaps some kind of filler/primer then use the touchup paint.
If it was completely hidden, I wouldn't care so much, but there are a few places where the scraping is visible, would very much like to take care of the problem.
Thanks,
