I30 on 20's?
I am going to buy rims within the next month. I want to put 20's on my I30, but I want to be able to drive her normally. What, if any , mods would I have to make to the fender and wheel well to be able to make full radius turns and drive normally on my 20's? I know my tires will have to be 35 series tires, but if the mods are too extensive, I will just settle for 18's. Any info is appreciated.

This is a heated debate, or it was a few months ago. Supposedly as long as the rims don't exceede 9in they'll fit with out issue, 10in width need spacers and a certain offset. your spedometer will be off of course and depending on the weight of the rims it will do excess wear to your brakes/suspension/steering components....but that can be said of any rim combo.

Where can I find Paparozzi(sorry that's probably wrong but I'm too lazy to hit the back button) I want to ask him about his suspension, as I suspect I'll need stiffer springs...(what everyone's thinking...OH REALLY? YOU NEED STIFFER SPRINGS? NO DON"T BE RIDCULOUS..in an extremely sarcastic tone...)

Well if anyone knows anyone with dubs, ask them. the brakes thing makes sense tho'... Would I replace the whole brake assembly or just the rotors and pads? Sorry I'm so nOOb but I just started teaching myself to work on cars by reading books, and everytime I go talk to the mechanics they act like they're jealous cause I'm young with an alright car, cause they give me answers that don't make sense

Don't listen to the haters... if you want 20s, buy 20s. Just don't buy ugly 20s.
These are 20s done right.

Get the 20's if you want them. Everybody doesn't have to be a full fledged racer in their cars. Go to (20inches.org) for pictures. I have pictures of my 95 max dropped 1.5" with 20's on it and 21's. You don't have to do any modifying of the car for either. Believe me, I work at C.A.R.R.S.S. located in Richmond, VA at 4300 West Broad St. I used to put the wheels and tires on everything around here. We put 22's on a 2002 Cadillac Deville with no rubbing and he could turn the wheel all the way. Visit the C.A.R.R.S.S. website at (www.hotcarrss.com).
