Well, ya gotta wonder where they came from, and why they are for sale. If someone had an I30 with HID's, why would they swap em out?? Sounds fishy, esp. for 200 bux. But id worry more about them working than them bein stolen.

Jeez people, just because someone is selling a headlight doesn't automatically mean it's stolen.

Judging by the other parts he sells as well as the fact that the mounting tabs are intact, I would think it would be safe to assume they are probably take-offs from a wreck.

I agree with Meta, or if they were stole it's a very clean job therefore you have nothing to worry about unless something is missing or they just don't work.
Question, anyone has Zenons on there 96- 99 i30's XENON ??? if's so...

Hey BEEI30, not all the HID's selling at EBAY are stolen, I used to sell pairs of BMW X5 Xenons for just $200a pair, and not stolen at all ! I got a friend that is the BMW provider and they were overstock items that BMW ordered him to destroy because a recall on the ballasts. Think twice ! If you think an item is stolen just don't buy it ! But don't judge just looking at a low priced item that really costs more.

From my perspective, I think its a little funny that he put location "USA" thats a little vague isn't it? If the guy is from, oh NYC, id bet that they were stolen.

Most of the stolen HIDs from Maxima's and the TL's were taken from NYC, especially Queens. Im not saying these HIDs are definately stolen, but there is a good chance.

You are right about stuff being stolen within NY. However, those almost never sold on online, they are sold for cash on the streets. So that the certain person/people cannot be neither caught nor tracked, like they can be through eBay and Internet auctions. That is my opinion.
