Ride improvement on 2000 i30?

Hi Infiniti folks,

I recently bought a 2000 i30, love the car but find the ride a bit "floaty". I'm used to the solid ride quality of a older 1991 Mercedes 190e with Bilstein struts.

Is there a recommended strut or other simple suspension-related upgrade that will give me a somewhat more sporty and less "Buick-like" ride, but not too harsh?

Thanks,

Michael

I totally understand what you are talin about. My car (01 i30) rode the same way, until i installed a set of Eibach Pro-Kit springs. Got a nice, 1" aggressive lookin drop. No camber problems, no rubbing, no road noise problems (its actually quieter on the highway now) and most importantly, the ride is not harsh at all. Rides like a porsche, literally.

Didnt do up the shocks, and dont really need to. Havnt noticed any vibration or poor ride quality. If i do, Eibach makes shocks that go with the pro kit (its good to stay with the same company for both)
