Interior lighting
Do you guys know if dashboard lighting like cruise control switch, gas door open switch, buttons on climate control should light up when parking light/headlights are on? I have ’97 I30t. How can I change bulbs in bottons if they are out?

check this site out it shows the process on a 4th gen maxima basically the same thing. i m about to try the same thing on my 99 i30. if you try before me just keep me posted.

yes if the parking lights are on then all those lights should be on. you can change those light bulbs easily with stock bulbs or even different color bulbs if you wanted to. you would simply remove the panels on the dash and right behind the buttons is where the bulbs are, remove those and install new ones in. caution though, if you do switch to colored bulbs they might fade over time if you use cheap ones, so i would just stay with stock. hope this helps
