help rid factory ride height

I have a 2000 I30t with 19" wheels. My only problem right now is the wheel gap in the front. Of course the rear looks alright to me. What is the best route to take in your opinion and what brands do you recommend. I don't think I want the car too low and I am more concerned about ride quality than cornering, if that helps. Let me know if you need more info from me.

With 19's and lowering springs you will probably have no ride quality.

word.

the touring model already has a stiff suspension as it is, getting lower (and stiffer) springs will pretty much nix any ride quality..

I agree with everything that's been said here. However, if you still want to lower, I would recommend maxspeeds or H&R springs. They seem to have the most "stock" like ride. I'd also recommend changing your stock struts to something like KYB GR-2s as well.

Don't be discouraged from lowering the car, just understand that ride quality will suffer. I am not familiar with all the options the 2000+ I30/35 and Maximas have for lowering springs, but H&R's or B&G's are supposed to be softer than Eibachs. Maxspeeds are fairly soft, but I have seen sagging problems in the rear with them.

If I were you I would spend a couple hours using the search feature in the 5th gen fourm to read all the reviews you can. Arm yourself with the most info possible.

as the other guys have mentioned, you hve 19" rims on your car so your ride must be pretty bumpy to begin with. lowering the car, even if you go with the H&R springs, which are supposed to give u the softest suspension, the ride will be harsher. if you got nice roads around where u live then it might not be that bad but if you got some bumpy roads like i do up here in massachusetts then forget it, you would hate the ride with the 19" you have on. so it also depends on where you live too. take that into consideration
