How do I remove the Bose cd/tape player?
My two-year old stuffed something (cd, peanut butter sandwhich, etc.) into the cd slot. The cd player no longer responds. I want to pull the radio and extract the foreign object. How do I remove the plastic wood trim pieces? Do they pop off?

ALright, I dont know what year car you have but for my 99 you simply pop out the vents. Take the two screws at the top out after you pop out the vent. Oh yeah you have to take out the ashtray and there are two screws at the bottom. The whole piece will come out after that. After that, you just unscrew the radio from the brackets.
2nd note... I have a 99 bose radio i am trying to get rid of thats in great condition.

It is a 99 I30. I'll pull the radio tomorrow night (I'm having the side air bag replaced at the dealer tomorrow). If I can't coax the foreign object out of the cd slot, I may take you up on that offer.
