Difference in handling b/t I30 & I30t?
I test drove a '99 I30t last week and was very surprised. I have been looking for either a '98 or '99 I30t in black but have not had much luck.
One of the reasons why I like I's so much is because of the unsurpassed handling (atleast in their class anyway ), luxury, performance, and quality.
However, I know the the standard I didn't come with the same Euro-tuned suspension as the touring version. So my question is, have any of you ever driven a standard I and an I touring? Were there in significant differences in the way the car handled or took turns at relatively high speeds?
Thanks.

I have a 98 t, and my mother has a 97 "standard". There is a significant difference in the way the t handles. The 97 has a more 'cushy' feel to it. It tends to roll a bit in curves. The t has much better handling due to the suspension, but the 16" wheels and good tires also contribute. The t is certainly a bit more harsh over bumps and such, but that's the price you pay for the handling.
