****ty I35 exhaust..

I am not sure if there is a consensus about this, but I think the stock I35 exhaust looks like complete ***. The G35, FX, and Q all get a good looking stock exhaust system and tip. We got shafted.

As some have seen from my pics I used an aftermarket tip to change that...

This looks better, however the **** poor welding job that was done proved why you should be patient. (I was not) The tips are not even and do not point evenly either.

So last night, a genius engineer friend of mine and myself decided to go as far ***** out as possible with the tips as is. We removed the tips, ground them down, eliminated some of the stock tip area (the turn down area) and made the tips line up much differently. This time we had them follow the contour of the bumper (similiar to AMG), where one tip is slight further out than the other. They were also both moved closer to the bumper and aligned identically. The end was result after 5 hours of fabrication and welding and grinding is much better than before. (however most will say the amount of time spent was nuts. The result is a properly angled tip as well as gorgeously welded joints ( thanks to my friend) and sealant.

I will take pictures either later tonight, or tomorrow and post them ASAP.
