Ok, heard back from the company
They can do group discounts for 6 or more kits, and here the new prices if we can get 6 or more people buying and are the same for both A33 and A32:
- FRONT SPOILER US$141.00
- side skirts - pair US$187.00
- rear lower skirt US$141.00
The guys seems to have forgotten to give me the price for the boot spoilers, so I'm waiting to hear back with that price. The prices I've posted could change by the time depending on the US-NZ exchange rate when the order is placed, so it may end up slightly more or slightly less then what I've listed.

Anyone think the rear piece on the A33 kit would look alright with my existing sideskirts and front lip? I'm afraid that rear skirt would drop too low...
If we do this in Feb. I am Mos Def in for everything but the rear deck spoiler. Especially at those prices. Was that $805 for the full kit incl. shipping? I have never been involved in one of these group buys before, but this sounds great.
Oh!, I would still like to see the rear skirt on the silver A33 (If different than the blue one). I want to make sure that it dosn't look like the white Max in this thread
My appologies to those who like it. I personally like something more conservative like the one on the black Cefiro on the first post.
So I would love a pic.
Thanks

OH MY!!!!! WE HAVE GOT TO DO THIS!! A33 and A32 OWNERS UNITE!!! So what is the timing of the buy? Are we into February now...or are we still looking at Jan?
Matt - did they quote you a group shipping cost? Maybe we can have all the orders shipped to one US location and distributed to people. (I know I'm gettin ahead of myself but GEEZ ....LOOK AT THOSE PRICES!!)
The A32 kit looks like the one that I am getting made. There is a definite difference between bumpers, that is why I never sold the original few sets I imported. It will take quite a bit of custom work to make it fit because as I found out, there is a difference in the sides and back as well. Not sure when this GD will happen but my first batch of US A32 kits (no custom work to fit) will arrive about late January.
Not trying to dissuade anyone from this, just warning about the difference between US A32 and NZ/JP A32 I30/Cefiros'

The shipping of one kit is US$805 + the cost of the kit its self, I'll find out what it'll be to ship to one address only and then that person ships them all on, I'll work on a number of 6 at the moment
. As for the NZ Maxima A32 bumper vs the US A32 I30, I can see if the company can change the design slightly to fit the US I30, but someone would need to give me the required specs that I would need to pass on for them to do this (if it's even possible with out actually having a bumper in hand). But then, if MaxMoJo is already doing a kit for the A32's specially designed for the US I30's then it might make more sense to just wait for that and focus this group buy on the A33 kit?
EDIT: Forgot to add prices for spoilers:
- STANDARD SIZE @ US$158.00 EACH
- GT TYPE @ US$225.00 +GST EACH
The guy wanted to know if we wanted boot spoilers of the standard type or GT type. I've asked for pics of each and will put them here
From what I was told about modifying the bumpers, it would be impossible without the actual US I30 to work on because even if someone sent you a US spec bumper, it does not hold the same shape it would once it is mounted onto the car. The best way to fix it was to fit it onto the car itself. That is why with this particular product I am having it made in the US as opposed to overseas, as I usually do with my products.

Ok, all this talk about the difference b/t the NZ A32 and the US I30 has me worried about the compatibility of the NZ A33 and the US I30/35
I own 2000 I30 (same body style as the I35 - no differences that I know of except for the front grille and interior amenities) Is there any way to confirm that the NZ A33 (along with this particular kit) is compatible with the US I30/35 (years 00+)?? It seems to defeat the purpose of the group buy if when we all receive the kits there is alot of COSTLY customizing needed (I already anticipate some customization costs associated with this). I'm just wondering if anyone knows for sure? Matt, can you ask the dealer? MaxMojo, have you ever dealt with a 00+ I30/35 body kit (US or overseas)? If so, what is your experience? Man I hope we can get this worked out!!!P.S. I30TMikeD - How long before my status changes from "I need to read the FAQ's....." ??? LOL You really make a guy earn his "stripes" on this forum!!
$805 Just for shipping?!!!
HOLY CRAP! The Reason I got away from European cars was because I thought THEIR parts were expensive. I sure hope they can come down on that. I dont know if I can justify paying twice what the parts cost just for shipping. I have had suspension parts imported from Europe before (not small or light), and shipping only cost me a little over $100.
And I would still really like a picture of the rear skirt.

The I35 and the 2000 - 2003 model NZ Maxima's look identical on the outside, including the front bumper.
Here's a pic of the Maxima:

And heres a pic of the I35:

I can try ask a dealer, but they most likely haven't heard of Infinity.
Got word back about re-designing the A32 kits bumper, the guy said they'd need to locate a US bumper to make a mould of it then re-design the spoiler to fit. He said it will end up to be quite costly for a small number of them.
Shipping prices are high for a few reasons. This is no small box they're sending heh, nor will it be the lightest box, so the dimensions and the weight make it higher. NZ is also alot further away then Europe. He's looking further into the freighting of them to see what other prices he can get.
I'll make sure to ask for a pic looking at the rear of the A33 kit for you NewLoveI30

here is a rear bumper i imported from overseas. there is minor differences in the bumpers when installing it, other than that it looks the same. if you look closely you can see that there is a gap in the outer tail lights. i think they are for the cefiro tail lights from what im told. it is harder to close the trunk lid now because of the new bumper. and the rear mud guards are too big for the bumper so i left it out. so be prepared for fitment issues.
Thanks for the pic Matt. It looks great... except one thing (of course)
The A33 model in the U.S. has a dual tip exhaust. It dosen't look like two tips are going to fit through that cut out.
Sorry guys, but consider me out until someone finds the Jap kit in the first post.
Thanks anyways.

1) There are no issues with the front spoiler and side skirts as the A33 and US I30 2000+ are identical.
2) There IS an issue with the rear skirt, mainly due to the fact that the US model has 2 exhaust pipes (as opposed to one oversized pipe on the A33). We're not talking about bumper replacement so I don't think there are any issues with the rear tails etc (like Bee described).
So, if what I am assuming above is correct - I am still in for the front and side skirts. From what I can see of the Japanese kit ...it looks identical to what we are talking about ordering through Matt (i.e. same rear skirt and exhaust problem). So, I'm still in (for now).....unless we discover that there are other majot fitment issues.
I guess there are no "home grown" body kits out there
The Cefiro on the Evolution site also only has a single exhaust from looking at the pic on their website. I can see if it would be possible if the company thats making them could cut a second hole for the extra exhaust, someone would probably need to get some precise measuerments though. I'll let you all know what I find out
Hey count me in as an interested party for the A32 for the group buy dudes
Matt, do you know what the kits are made outta and if the company is reliable? NZ is reppin' hard with this type of kit development, i gotta say.. :P That red maxima / I30 you posted is the Steve Miller SMX replica yeah?
I30tMikeD: Could you change the title of this thread to include the words A32 / I30? I didn't even think to look in here until Matt mentioned it in another thread. Thankss

True, the Japanese kit dose only have one exhaust tip coming out. Though If you look at the exhaust cutout in the skirt it seems to be a lot wider than the tip on the car. This leads me to believe that this is a cut out for the dual tip exhaust.
Of course I could be wrong (It wouldent be the first time). Tell me what you guys think.

. The company is a fairly large car mod business in Hamilton called TopTown, a few of my friends up in Hamilton have used the company before with out any problems. I don't think they did the Steve Miller SMX replica, I think that may have been an Auckland company, not sure though. The Aus and NZ A32 Maxima's are identical aren't they?

It comes from the same place that the whole body kit comes from. The price of it is around US$251+shipping (which I'll find out for you, might not be today as it's Christmas Eve here
). If you buy it with the group buy, then you can get it at US$223 + a share of the group shipping price.
I'm not sure if that size was made to fit the A32/I30/NZ Maxima or if thats the standard size it comes.

Price won't be any cheaper if you buy the whole kit sorry
Prices for the rest of the kit are back a page or two. The front spoiler won't fit the bumper of a US A32 I30 unfortunately as the two bumpers are designed differently.
