I can't give you any more info then that. The only thing I know about going to a higher wattage bulb is what maxima owners have posted. I know some have shorted out their harness and some have not.

I went with an H4 harness and bulb when put on my one piece cefiro's, so there is that option.

ok i bought my upgrade harness'. now i have a new prob i was specing out what i was gonna have to do, and i need to replace wires to carry the higher wattage. now i looked behind the left side harness and it goes like 4 inches and into a consolodation tube. i dunno where it goes from there. i need to upgrade the wire and i dont know how long it has to be or anything any help on this?

there's no extra wires that heavy duty harnesses have. which wiring harness did you buy? h4 or 9004? if you're going with the cefiro one piece then it's the h4 harness which has three wires. there's no extra wires on that to figure out where they go. just cut your stock harness and match the proper wires with the harness and the cut wires and u should be all set. with the upgraded heavy duty harness you can use the higher wattage bulbs that u want

well i got one with 3 wires, and i called my closest infiniti dealer and the guy said i should have rewired sum wires to help with the upped voltage, but i took it to the mechanic and he just patched in the new harness sumthing i could have done. so whatever if it gets fried its his fault and i got normal hl now
