--sorry if this is a re-thread, or if this is a stupid question.--

i'm getting a 5speed swap for my 95 maxima, and i just read that all I30 5speed trannys have LSD, yet when i was searching for trannys on car-part.com, there was one that came up at a good price saying its not LSD. can someone please clear the air for me before i purchase one.

No, not all 5-speeds have VSLD. If you look how the packages are set up fromt the factory, it works out that most do have LSD.....but not all. The "T
" model came with VSLD no matter what and most 5-speed I30 were the "T" model but not all.
