2k+ Clear Sidemarker Installation

Someone bought them and is saying that the rears don't fit. The new sockets are hitting the metal frame. What did some of you guys do to make them fit?
I have been going by the writeup that JSpecMax wrote it doesn't mention it and no one else ever asked me about it.

Thanks.

Try PMing JSpecMax? I'd help if I could, but I never even attempted the rears...I never liked the idea of clears in the back.

My car is white so I think the rear clears look nice. I just cut the socket and soldered the wire onto the clips. I haven't had any with them.

Mine needed some modifications aswell. You dont have to cut the wires at the base to make them fit. Just cut away some of the plastic on the bulb base, around the wires, where they (the wires) go into the base.

Also the plastic retaining clips on the clears dont work all that well. I just popped out the plastic ones and replaced them with the metal clips on the stock lenses.
