Can you adjust auto headlight sensitivity?

got a question, can you adjust the automatic headlight sensitivity? I've got an '02 I35.... everytime I pull in the garage, headlights come on (even in broad daylight). Is there a way to make them less sensitive? Garage is not, at all, dark....

thanks.

Actually, the 2002 I35 has an auto headlight feature. The headlights will turn on when it is dark out and off a little while after you turn off your car. This is also on the 2002 max I believe.

Yeah the I35's don't have DRL, since they have HIDS. Just run the car with the parking lamps on all the time, and manually switch the headlights on at night... That's what I do. I don't like how they turn on for 10 seconds when im in the garage.

well, i talked with our local Infiniti dealership, and according to them there is not a way to adjust the sensitivity.... a few in the 5th gen forum think there may be, I posted the question there as well.... someone posted some computer settings that can be changed (I believe it came from altima.org, but supposedly applies to the max as well) which I would then assume would apply to us? My local dealer was not familiar with these settings.

for now, I leave them in the off position and switch to auto when i want them to turn on, and they'll come on as appropriate. I just don't want them coming on and off everytime I pull in the garage, that can't be good for the hid's.
