I added electric blue LED lights to my whole I30 very sweet!
Hey everyone,
I had nothing to do one weekend so I decided to take a chance on my 1996 I30. I bought a bunch of electric blue LED's and installed them in each door where the power window buttons are. The factory has them light up that faded green color.
I removed the circuit board from each door, cut the green bulbs off and sodered the new blue LED's in their place. (I learned very quickly that there is a positive and negative side to the little LED's) Once I was done sodering them on I just put the door peice back together and poped it back in the door.
It was not as hard as I thought, but it did take a lot of patience.
If anyone is interested in more detail about it, please feel free to email me and I will be happy to share with you.
(you can use any color LED you want for this project)!!!

Hey, i don't have pictures yet, but I will try and take some this week. I hope I can catch how they turned out. The only way you can tell the difference is when it is night and they are on. Instead of being the dull green that is factory, they are electric blue. Again, you can use any color LED you want and it should work.
Thanks!
Thanks!
if u want good LED's go to www.Oznium.com, they are really nice leds, best quality, and they are cheap, u may find alot of cheapies on the net but the colors arent good and things like that, and if u buy emin the stores they are too expensive, i have 3 of their LEDs under my dash and puts off sum nice bright glow.
