For those with the stock Navigation system

I was unhappy to realize that when the car is in mothion, some of the navi features can't be used. This is a safety feature, but it a stupid one because I guess Infiniti didn't realize that the passenger can use it. Anyways, is there a way to bypass the safety feature so that it can be programmed while driving?
