Hey all! I have a question regarding hesitation in my 99 i30. This is a rather sporadic problem that I've seen after driving the car in stop and go traffic for an hour of so. It has occurred in temp ranges from about 60+ degrees do it is not limited to very hot or very cold days. What I'm noticing is a hesitation under normal acceleration from a dead stop. The car takes off well enough for about a second and then it bogs down almost as if its about to stall. I give it a little more gas and it lerches forward and all seems fine. Car is using 93 fuel and has about 43k miles. No CEL. Under highway driving, acceleration is smooth and responsive. Also, under aggressive acceleration from a stop (WOT) I do not feel the hesitation. Has anyone else experienced this problem??
