Transmission Flush help~
How to flush the tranny?
Read application instructions at auto-rx dot net, or as I recently tried, bought two 12 quart cartons of Chevron ATF (24 total) at .69 cents and siphoned out a portion and drove the car around a bit every so often for two weeks. Takes less than 5 minutes to do from popping the hood to wiping my hands clean and much cheaper than having the transmission flushed at the shop for $90 where they may not let you bring in your own fluid and are forced to use theirs which in most cases is ATF with unknown additives.
Which is the best ATF?
Difference is minimal to nothing in real life, but your car could go faster with the more expensive ATF since your wallet is lighter. . . couldn't resist.
