Painted chrome strip, but utimately ruined original paint job.. need you opinions

I painted the chrome stripe down side of car. Unfortunatley I did not tape off far enough, I had some overspray from the primer. I used rubbing compound (heavy duty) and not only did I remove the overspray I also messed up the finish. I need to have the car repainted. I do like the BLK on Blk but how about an off white or a cream? I think it would look nice with tint and blk interior or it best to always keep original color?

Thanks,
Pat

I like your car! I have a 1996 I30 and I am desperately trying to find clear corner lamps (the ones next to the headlamps). I see you have them! Where did you get them? PLEASE HELP! They are not the Maxima one are they????

Thanks.

Sweet. They look good. I tried it yesterday and man I messed one of them up bad! It's not that big of a deal, but there is a huge crack down the middle of it. I say it's not that bad because you can't really see the crack unless your up close and looking for it since the lense if white and the inside of the lamp is chrome. DAMN i wish the Maxima lights would just fit the stupid car!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!

I have seen your car up close and a new paint job would do you wonders. I would stay with Blk, not too many blk on blk I30's.

Can you please tell me the link to your cardomain profile? I would also stay with the black, it looks real good. If you do want to chance I would personaly go with silver.
