Windnoise & A Rattle
Windnoise & A Rattle
Hey Fellas,
I have 2 questions. I'm sure it's been discussed before, but I cannot use the search tool due it being disabled.
I just noticed the other day that there is a slight wind noise coming from the left rear door. I checked the seal around the door and it appears to be okay. Is there a TSB for this?? If so, what is it?
I also have a rattle which sounds like it's coming from the right tweeter or cup holder area. I really can't seem to pinpoint it. Anybody having the same rattle? Are there any easy fixes?
Thanks

There is a windnoise TSB so you can take that to the dealer and they should fix it under warrantee.
As for the rattle, I have the same one somewhere near the right A-pillar. I have brought that to the dealer and the were not able to fix it.
If you do find a solution to the rattle, be sure to let me know.

Personally for rattles, i just start ripping panels off and taking them out. Then drive around some more. Usually I find something inside of the panel, or it was the panel itself. One time, I had a really small nut INSIDE the glovebox, between itself, drove me NUTS! If the rattle is the panel itself, I just added a little strip of adhesive rubber, and ususally I'm all set...good luck with your rattle. Btw i have no wind noise .. just the exhaust and the intake ... :P
