Blinking turnsignals when locking doors

Hello, I have a problem...

I have a 1995 European Maxima (I30 bodied), and when I look or unlock my doors my side blinkers don't flash like other maxima's. Also with the remote controll they wont flash. Can you give me a walk through on what and how to check stuff to get them flash like they should? I really hate this cuz now I have to check everytime after I lock if it's really locked, and first I didn't know that it should flash so I didn't care, but since I'v seen a few other maxima's flash I took my manual and in there stands that it should do just that, so I want it fixed... whatever it may be....

please help me

Are you talking about when you lock it with the key as well as when you lock it with the remote? Mine never flash when I lock with the key. Not sure about remote though, mine didn't come with one

Yep, with the key as well as with the remote, it won't flash... I took the thing to the dealer today and he said that the maxima shouldn't flash at all, so I took the manual and searched and searched and couldn't find it anymore

Maybe I was mistaken... now I'm searching for a way to making them flash when I lock or unlock the doors. I was thinking if I used a diode and ran a cable with that diode (preventing my doors from open / close / open / close whenever I put on my hazard lights) from the doorlock motor + to the + connector from my hazard light switch with the diode in between that it should do the trick to flash my hazard lights once whenever I look / unlock the door... what do you think?
