Angel eyes for my I30/max

So I am getting the angel eyes for my i30/max. They are way cool but I can't decide on whether to get the crystal (chrome) background or the black. What do you think? Chrome or Black?
Come to think of it I haven't seen anybody post pics of their I30/35 with angel eyes. Who has them? Can you post a pic please.
PS - I saw a max here with the black and it looks really bada$$. I like the fact that the amber will be gone as well.
Oh yeah I am also getting plastic side skirts as wellm and hopefully my 19s and evolution front lip and rear skirt next month.

You should go with the chrome because your car is white. The car will have a cleaner look. where did you get the chromes? i just ordered my blacks today from ebay.
make sure you post your pics with the kit on!

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay? I think I can get good prices here on accessories because we are closer to the manufacturers and there is no tax in this country. I am paying $115 for those. I think I can get HIDs really cheap here as well. WIll have to check though.

Not to be a PITA, but I think you should just modify the stockers. You could take out the amber piece and while you have them open you could install aftermarket angel eyes. I would just be suspect of the quality of the E-bay headlights. Especially if you want to put in HIDs you want a headlight with good optics or you may blind people and get a $hitty beam pattern. I have also heard that these headlights come with crappy, dim angel eyes.

interesting. Well I am not going to put in HIDs simply for the fact that every road and highway here is lit up like the fourth of July. Most people don't even turn their lights on full to drive at night just the daytime setting is what is used. THere is no reason for me to have bright lights at all. Pretty weird. I could do that conversion of which you speak but It would probably cost me as much as just fitting these angel eye ones. Also I will have 2 sets of lights just in case one set gets broken. Hopefully not though.

so $115 for a set is good then. Cool.
BEEI30 I think your car looks good, I like the black but I think i will get the chrome. They look like they fit well there.
I will check for you A32 guys whether or not they make them. My guess is no but I will still check tomorrow.

Do you think this one will fit A32 ? It specifically says for 2001-2003 Maxima but the shape of the headlight looks like the one of A32.

What kind of bulbs do you have on your angel eyes? Your outter ring is white and the inner ring is yellowish!

hey bee i think those look nice on your car, do they take the regular 9006 low beam bulb? Also you said they are leds for the eyes is that like an 194 bulb that you can switch out? and last are they decent quality? i dont mean to throw all these question at you but i got a black i30 and i think the black headlights would look real clean.

Hey BEE, I was just wondering. Was the HID kit on your car the ones that came stock or was it an aftermarket. Reason being, I want to install these chrome halo housings as well. But I want to keep my stock HID's that came with the car rather than get rid of them. I would really like to know this before I commit to buying them.

I agree that its better to do it yourself. I did mine over a year ago and i love it everytime i see it. Also the I35 grill helps the looks.

I can get the plastic lip here for about 80$ but that is not painted and I don't know how I would fit it. They wanted to use bots or rivets evenly spaced every 6 inches but it looked like crap. How do you get that lip to stay on? Are there clips inside?

Which plastic lip are you talking about? Is it the same as the Australian lip? Maybe shipping would be less from where you are.

Kalbundy, About how much did the lips cost with shipping. I really cant buy them now because I have to save my $$$, but I would just like to know for future reference... Or maybe I can make another exception like I did with the Y-Pipe I just bought ... What? It was on sale!!!

Kalpesh only has the front lip. I have the front and recently ordered and installed the rear. Check the link Mike posted (previous page) that has the details I gave awhile back on ordering from the Nissan dealer in Australia that I was able to get in contact with. The parts manager there will be able to give you pricing information.
