There is a pic of my old spark plug. My car has 115k and no records of 60k service so it might be original. How does it look? Is it normal for the tip to be white?

To me it didn't look that bad.... I would have changed them anyway. If they have 115k on them that's almost twice the mileage recommended. And if they were changed at 60K, they're still driven 55k and should soon be replaced anyway.

just change them for copper ngk's. you can afford 10$... and you get better gas mileage and performance with the change from those old stockers.

Looks decent enough to me. That's how mine looked as well. I was a bit worried about the extreme ash color, but it's nothing to worry about.
