LED tail bulbs
LED tail bulbs
I ran into this on ebay.

I don't know if this was mentioned before but I was wondering if anybody's got some experience with these LED bulbs. Since LEDs last longer than regular bulbs...I thought I might give this a try. I just hope it doesn't look too weird. I don't think I can quite afford the whole LED kit like some of the guys did on their 4th gen. Theirs look nice though like the factory ones(i.e. G35, bimmer E46 coupe, etc.)

I bought these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...906426959&rd=1 and at first it looked really nice... but after 2 weeks, one led went out, and another did...then another...
Hope you have better luck with yours.

I got amber ones, which are basically the same ones as the red ones but in the stock color. These will give you rapid blinkers, so not sure if you want that or not. Red also isn't a very good color imo. I have a friend that put red ones on, but in 11 leds and not the 19 you linked, and they're barely visible in the day. These leds, however, are brighter at night. I personally like the rapid blinker, so I kept mine on. As for longer life, I wouldn't bank on ebay leds to have longer life than the stock bulbs you have.
