Just orderd the Greddy SP2 and am wondering how inset the tip will be into the bumper. I know the SP2 is made for 95/96 maxima's and when installed on a 97 the tip is a bit inset. I am thinking it will be even more inset on my 96 I30t. Not a huge deal, I can always have a muffler shop extend it for me.

I am just curious who has had a complete cat-back on their I30, like an Apexi, Greddy, or cattman that was ment for a 95/96 maxima and how the inset the tip was.

 

I have a 97+ obx on my 96 and the only difference was it sticks out maybe 3-4 inches.from the bumper cover where on the 97+ it would be nearly flush with a small overhang.

 

Well, I don't have one on my I30, but when I had my 95 GLE I had a cat-back that stuck out a few inches since I think it was off a 97. Since out I30s are 2 inches longer than Maximas, you're right to assume it will be a little inside the bumper. Just get it extended and be done with it.
