I'd like to put a one touch moonroof on my 1997 Maxima. I was wondering if the I30 from this time period had this feature. If so, I like to be able to swap in whatever gives it that one touch capability.

 

no it didnt have it. im not sure if the switch from my car would fit yours but you couold try some salvage yards to get a 2k+ max/i30 sunroof switch.

 

There is a post in the 4th Gen Maxiam stickies that tells you what part you need to make your sunroof 1-touch.

 

I know, but it's not a "true" one touch solution. You have to hit the up down switch first before you use the sunroof. I guess that would be OK if I was the only driver of the car but I'm not. I don't want to have to keep explaining to everyone else who uses the car how to operate the moonroof.
