'98 I30 w/ G35 rims?

Any '98 or similar model year I30s out there running G35 rims? What size and year are you running? Any special work to get them to fit?

Thanks!!!

No work is needed to make them fit, if you run the 17" size. The 18" may rub.

Actually, depending on the width and offset og the G35c rims, there may be rubbing. Once you pick a model of rim, let us know and we can advise you better. There are several models of G35 rims out there- we need to knwo which one.

Well there are 2 that my friend is looking at. Either the 17" standard coupe rims running 225/50R17 front and 235/50R17 out back or the 18" upgrade rims running 225/45R18 front and 245/45R18 out back.

I think the stock rims on his I30 are 205/65R15 all around.

Diameter calcs come to this:
I30 205/65R15 = 25.5"
G35 225/50R17 = 25.9"
G35 225/45R18 = 26"

My biggest concern would be the offset and width of the tires. And the 235 or 245 out back may rub on the inside. Anyone have insight into this?

The 17" coupe rims should fit, and some people have run the 18" coupe rims, but you should consult the infiniti offset chart at the top of this forum for more info.

I woudl be worried about the rear 18s...

I think the 18" 7 spokes are a little too modern looking to fit the look of the older I30. I think the 6 spokes or even the sedan 5 spoke would look good.

When looking at offset, is that the distance from the inner side of the tire to the innerside of the bolts or where is that measured from so I can take a few measurement on his car. Thanks!!!

So what does that mean? Where is that 5mm difference? Inside or outside?

Anyone know the stats (width, offset) of the standard 17" G35 coupe wheels? I was told 17x7.5 front and 17x8 rear but I have an idea that they might be the same size wheel, just different tire sizes.
