Just purchased a 98 I30t, 5spd. 67k miles, good shape. Looks like I got a pretty good deal from looking at the boards, $10k.

Wanted to say hi. From the information being exchanged, it seems this is the right place to be.

Dropped in a K&N, changing the oil this PM, Mobil 1 10/30 for the summer. Just filled up for the first time so I will be watching the mileage.

I have to say that I have been looking at Honda's and Suabaru's for the past 2 months. When I stumbled on the I30t 5 speed (if it was an automatic I would have never considered it), I was impressed with everything after I drove it. My wife also liked it (the most important issue since she will be driving the car mostly) and could not find a downside after researching about the 98's on the web.
