Rotors for '96 I30?

Are there any aftermarket rotors for the '96 I30 that are less prone to warping than the OEMs? Seems like those OEMs warp pretty easily.

TIA,
Steve

You can try brembo rotos, they are supposed to be made of a higher quality metal.

Have you had your rotors turned or replaced?

Just get the plain Brembo rotors- the cross-drilled ones that I had crackes, and the slotted ones can wear out pads pretty quickly.

i got a pair of the plain brembos....i dont think they are worth the price tag though...if i were to do it again i would go with the autozone cheapies. my brembos are warping and costed about 4x more than autozones....im not sure but i think autozone guarantees them too

The biggest cause of your rotor warping is driving through puddles or spraying with a hose at a carwash. Things like that.

The other cause is wheel lug nut torque.

I get mine cut once every 6 months. They usually last 3 cuts (18 months) and then I get a new set. The cheap ones are not too bad. Try www.rockauto.com
