help please!

help, i have a 2000 I30 and just recently the front seat wont adjust forward or backwards, i hope its not the motor. anyone else have the same problems?

No, I haven't experienced this problem, but have you checked the fuses or if the track is obstructed?

I have found that knocking the motor will get to work. There is a TSR about this issue.

thanks alot, i'm going to try that, but what does a TSR mean?

no i havn't checked the fuses but im going to gove that a try too, thanks again

I've had this happen to me before. My seat doesnt really get moved but heres what i did. MY seat is always all the way back and when someone tries to move it up it didnt so i got my dad to try and move it up and while the button is pushed for it to move forward i bang the lower back part of the seat a couple times till it starts moving. as long as you can tilt your seat and recline it then try this out.

Yeah- do the other seat contros work? Tilt, lift/lower, etc.?
