Ok guys, had a 97 Max.....manual.......no matter how hard I drove it I'd always get at least 300 a tank, all city. Now this I35 barely gets 225. Did the power increase affect fuel efficiency THAT much? Oh well though, I'm in love with the 3.5 Who cares.

 

I get pretty good mileage on the highway, but in the city....I try not to even think about it.

Especially with the traffic/construction here in Knoxville. I'm now living off campus and commuting to school every day, and I'm trying my best NOT to look at the gas gauge...

 

humm... i'm getting easy 300 miles on full tank at 100% city driving... and i like to WOT alot

 

Wait a minute I think I saw you Wednesday at UT. Of course I was flaunting the Infiniti around campus and I did see a black one that looks just like yours. Hehehe. So when we goin to the track?

 

I drive about 80/20 city highway, and get around 330 a tank.

 

I feel pretty good then....I'm at WOT a lot more than what I think I should (plenty of speeding tix to show) and I always see 400 per tank with each fill.

I think I got 360 a few weks ago with a lot of in-town driving but ...dang....I'd be concerned at 300 from each tank, before now

I'm using highest octane I can get and have no detonation knocks, 107K miles and do 80/20 (hwy/city) driving.

It's reassuring that now if I do get 300 from a tank ...and forgot that I was city driving alot, I won't go tearing stuff apart on it looking for what's wrong.

 

LOL...next to the (running) track and beside like the theater? I saw a silver I35 drive by me and sounded like someone yelled at me but I didn't think anything of it. So yeah...I think we saw each other LOL. As for the track...whenever man. I think they're still running Import Night on Thursdays, right? Maybe we could go with the car club here on campus.
