New car with 30 miles, when to start modding?
Ok I know i have a thread already looking for mods, so I guess i am post whoring alittle.
Well this is the first time I ever bought a brand new car with no miles on it. I am itching to mod already. I know I am in break-in period till i reach 500-1000 miles but, am I ok to mod already. I figure let the engine breakin with mods on it, so it can except the new mods while it's still in it's learning phase. I ordered the clear bumper lenses already, and i am itching to call steve and scott at frankencar for the Intake and catback exhaust. What should I do?

Federal Warranty Laws
1.The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C))
This federal law regulates warranties for the protection of consumers. The essence of the law concerning aftermarket auto parts is that a vehicle manufacturer may not condition a written or implied warranty on the consumers using parts or services which are identified by brand, trade, or corporate name (such as the vehicle maker's brand) unless the parts or service are provided free of charge. The law means that the use of an aftermarket part alone is not cause for denying the warranty. However, the law's protection does not extend to aftermarket parts in situations where such parts actually caused the damage being claimed under the warranty. Further, consumers are advised to be aware of any specific terms or conditions stated in the warranty which may result in its being voided. The law states in relevant part:
“No warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or implied warranty of such product on the consumers using, in connection with such product, any article or service (other than article or service provided without charge under the terms of the warranty) which is identified by brand, trade or corporate name...†(15 U.S.C. 2302(C)).

Nice intake.
[QUOTE=cobymoby]Give us a call! Here is our intake for the I35/Maxima. Contrary to what the dealer would like you to believe, they can't void your entire engine warranty for installing an intake. Read up on the Magnuson-Moss federal law regarding warranties.

Hey cobymoby, What is the name of your company or Intake that you are using. It looks similiar to the frankencar intake, are you affiliated with them? or are you using something else. What are your dyno figures looking like from a stock baseline....to using the WAI?
Thanks

Berk Technology. We are not affiliated with Frankencar at all, we are direct competitors. Our designs are almost identical except for the fact that we use far better materials and offer better discouts. Our dynos are the same as theirs. Approx 10-12WHP on a 02-03.
I just saw in Paradox sys., is that a good deal.
