15" Infiniti I30 OEM Chrome Wheels Rims Tires

First off did these come stock or did they chrome them?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

I won this bid, for ONLY $151.50... but I didnt realize shipping to NY, UPS Ground was gonna cost almost twice as much as the rims/tires!!! Shipping is about $260! I dont think I can afford it, I was wondering if there was a way to transfer my winning bid to someone else who might want them. I think its a GREAT price, its with the tires; especially if you can pick them up... since they offer that, I know they arent making money off shipping. However they will not use 3rd party shipping.

PS - They sell seem to sell great OEM rims for rediculously low prices; has anyone bought from them?

Your getting raped on the shipping. The buyer is trying to make up on the low price by charging extra shipping. It is a CA to NY but shipping should only be like $150 at the most. I just shipped 4 rims to CA from Chicago for $60 via UPS.

well the thing is, I went the the UPS site... and thats what it actually comes out to be...

59.85/per box, four boxes = $239.40 + they charge $30 for the boxes
but fedEx only charges $134.92, so I dont understand whats going on.

I shipped UPS. Two rims per box @ 32.xx per box from Chicago to California.

Dude, your getting ripped on shipping really bad. Who pays $30 for a box....you should not have to pay for the boxes! This is a company your buying from not an individual, they have boxes.

Shipping shoud be $150 at the very, very most!!! Don't get scamed like that. They are just trying to make extra money

It's very simple, the rims and tires went for real cheap so they are tying to make up for that by making a $100 or more on shipping. I have shipped two sets of rims, two sets of tires and bought two sets of rims over the internet and never paid more than $100 for shipping!

Those rims are nasty. Dont worry about it. Back out of the deal

You get what you pay for. In my opinion, scratched chrome looks worse than cheap silver.

Well what if lived in town and picked em up? They wouldnt have a problem with it? See its not so simple, it makes no sence... I even seen a set of rims/tires go for less than $5, so they couldnt be making any money if they offered local pick up.

The fact that they will take local pick up has nothing to do with the fact that they know you are not local and they are trying to make money on shipping. Ebay sellers try to do it all the time. That is why I will get a shipping quote from them before I bid.

But you obviously want to believe these people, so no matter how many rims and tires I have bought, sold, and shipped your not gonna believe me.
