My I30 won't start

Starting Problems

HI,
My car won’t start, my battery is working fine. I can use the radio, lights. I tried to jump it just in case but I didn’t start either. The first time this happened was like 3 days ago, but I gently hit my starter and it started, but now that doesn’t work anymore.
When I rey to start the car I can't hear the starter, it usually makes a little noise when the car starts.
I have a 97 I30T with 108K. I got the car on June. I did all the maintenance such spark plugs, oil, tranny oil, flushed radiator, brake fliud, steering fluids.
A month ago a knocking sound began; it was the alternator that was making the noise, so I changed the alternator.
I also put a Bomz CAI but I haven’t made a hole under the battery, so it’s basically the pipe from the throttle to the MAF and to the cone air filter. In order to do put the CAI I took the stock air box and the small vent that goes on top of the radiator. There is a sensor attached to that vent that for now is attached with some tape to one hose, I don’t really know the function of that sensor.
I hope this details help.

Please help me. My car is in the university gym parking and I can’t move it.
