I was bidding on a stillen rear sway bar on ebay and someone just outbid me. I found this one their also: Rear Sway Bar.
Does it look OK or should I pass on that one??

 

That one is $115 with a $20 for shipping. Why not just go to here or Cattman and pay $140 for the bar? Then you know where it came from and exactly what it is.

 

That bar is IDENTICAL to the Stillen RSB and half the price. I bought that same one and it's the same in every way - just doesn't have the stillen name on it.

In fact...that bar came as a result of one of the members here on the org copying the Stillen bar and making that knockoff.

The stillen design (and hence the stillen knock-off) are a slightly better design than are the addco/progress. I have had both, and the difference, though slight, is there.

 

so this stillen knockoff bar performs exactly the same as stillens, AND doesnt have the mounting annoyances that the addco/progess have?

Some people say that you have to unbolt the brake lines, but I slid the mounting brackets under them...

 

Well,I may have jumped the gun. I ordered the Cattman/Progress before knowing that the one on ebay was a Stillen replica.

Oh well. The Cattman still seems to be a great rear sway bar.
