quick question???

does anyone here ever use non-nissan parts when replacing parts not involved with their modifications? for example, i need to replace my cv boots and there's a nissan specialist that will use aftermarket parts for much cheaper than my dealer who will use nissan parts. the nissan specialist can use nissan parts too but of course he says they are more expensive. any suggestions?

www.everythingnissan.com

They have very good pricing on all Nissan OEM parts, go there and see how much cheaper the parts your Nissan Specialist uses. If not by much or maybe cost even more than that site(which happened in many cases), then I suggest you to go with the Nissan OEM parts, as they are made in Japan for higher build quality.

Think about the question you just asked... If its made for your car, then it can be used.

examples
Lowering Springs and Struts...
Exhaust
Rotors/Brakes

A Nissan CV Boot = a CV boot for a Nissan... Feel me

I really don't get hung up on using OE parts too much. I will only use OE plugs and fuel filter though. I went with napa rotors and pads for the rear and am happy with them.
