Any one ever thought about TURBO charging the car?
Would it be possible?

 

Don't maximas/infintis in Tailand come with a VQ turbo? ie.. the 2.0 liter? And there are MANY turbo 3.0 liter VQs on this site. Hence why we have a dedicated section for forced induction

 

I have thought many times about twin staged turbos on my VQ30! Unfortunately I dont have the time or money for the compressors or the engine build up.

 

Bah those are all just minor setbacks

 

hehehe....JGTC usa 350z's use the vq30deTT....twin turbo version of our cars...

 

I thought they used the VE30DETT from the 90-96 300ZXTT.

 

Yeah... I know there is a VQ30DET with a single turbo in another market, but I have never heard of a twin turbo VQ.

I could be wrong though... It happens more frequently than I would like. Anyone have the engine specs or a diagram? I would love to take a look at it... If it in fact exists.

 

There is a factory VQ30DET? I knew of the VQ20DET.

there are turbo I30's and many turbo max's. the VQ30DET comes in the Y33 chassis as the Gran Turismo package. the motor can cleary handle the power
