possibly lowering my car

ill be possibly lowering my car on tokico blues on tein stechs, many people said the shocks might blow, but i dont get it why?

the spring rates have too much downward force acting upon the struts. Tokico Blues are meant as OEM replacements, meaning they are only 15% stiffer than stock, and can hold the stock springs. But when you lower your car, it puts more force on the struts to dampen.

Yeah, many people have blown the blues with aftermarket springs. Do yourself a favor and get the Illuminas. They are definately more expensive but they're meant to be paired with lowering springs like the Teins. You might pay the difference in labor alone if you go with the blues and the end up blowing.
