98, inifinity i30.
does anyone know why this is happening??
when i switch the a/c blower to one or two, there should be air coming from all the vents. the extreme right and extreme left work well, the middle vents just dont thow air! i have to put it to three(3) and still its not too good..
whats blocking the air?
blower blocked?-- if so, how come 2 work and the other 2 don't?
evaporator?-- don't think so..
there is a "net" as far as i know which filters the air that comes out of the middle vents, do u think thats to be cleaned?

I have the same exact question about my 98 I30. The right and left vents blow a LOT of air but the center ones blow next to nothing. Did you ever find out what the problem was? I sure would let to get this fixed!!!

 

I forgot to ask you.... Did you buy the car new or used? Have the middle vents ever blown strong? I wasn't sure if this was normal for the car to do this (although I was pretty sure it wasn't) or what b/c I bought it used in 2003 already with 150k miles on it.

 

naah, i got it used, but when i got it , it was fine..., the guy said he just got the A/c done.. so i really don't know whats rong.. anyways, im thinking of cleaning the blower and all the ac pipes.. lets see.. i assuming its going to take a lot of time and hard work.. hope it pays off...
