Infiniti I30/I35 Similar to a Maxima, yet not really a Maxima. Discussion forum on Nissan's luxury model, the Infiniti I30/I35

Do 4th gen splashguards/mudflaps fit on a 97 I30? Thanks.

I dunno officially, but my Maxima (International, based on the I30 design) has stock splashguards/mudguards that look identical to those on the US Maxima

Hmmmm....I don't know for sure, but I would think if they were actually a different part that they would be awfully close. If you really want to know you could find a Nissan Dealer that has some in stock and look at them, then go to an Infiniti dealer and look at those. Or drive through some parking lots to find an I30 and Max with flaps

Just be on the safe side and order the ones for the 96-99 infiniti I30. That way you do not waste your time wondering if they are the same or not. Unless of couse you are trying to satisfy your curiosity.

The part numbers would be on the mudflaps wouldn't they (too dark to go look right now)? If so, why doesn't someone with an I30 and someone with a Maxima go take a note of the part number and report back here for comparison?

If that can't be done, maybe get a longish peice of string and run it alot the outer edge of the mudflap from a Maxima and an I30 and mark it off once you encircle the mudflap. Measure the marked string length and then compare here.

the infiniti ones are painted and the max arnt .. and there not the same.. they look diff i can texplain but hthey shjould be interchangeable for the front. only becuase the the max and the i30 are similar at that wheel... but the read.. where it conforms around the read bumber... its not hte same for the max.. the max is just round where i30 has this wavy thing.. like it goes in then back out.. so ans to question the part number not hte smae cause there not the same type of flaps...

yes, black like the plastic. No paint.

Not the greatest pic, but you can see them.
